The Dalmore 2008 15 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky 700ml
Product Information:
Bottled in 2023, the year Gregg Glass was awarded Master Distiller of the Year at the Global Icons of Whisky Awards, this Dalmore 2008 15 Year Old is a testament to the artistry of The Dalmore. Glass describes the expression as “revealing naturally balanced nuances and interplays of sweet cacao, fresh citrus, and soft spices. A beautiful example of refined elegance from The Dalmore, captured at a moment in time.”
On the nose, expect enticing aromas of milk chocolate, caramel, mandarin, and cracked black pepper. The palate brings a delightful interplay of manuka honey, poached apples, golden sultanas, and sweet cacao, finishing long with vanilla cream, brioche, orange peel, and warm spices. This 15-year-old single malt is best enjoyed neat, with a splash of water, or over ice.
Matured in American white oak ex-bourbon casks and further enhanced in hand-selected Matusalem Sherry and 15-year-old Pedro Ximénez Sherry casks, this expression carries natural colour and is non-chill filtered. Part of The Dalmore’s prestigious Vintage Collection, it reflects the soul of a single year at The Dalmore, showcasing a refined and harmonious balance.
Maker:
The Dalmore's regal legacy dates back to 1263 when Colin of Kintail, the first chieftain of Clan Mackenzie, saved King Alexander III from a charging stag. As a mark of gratitude, the King granted the Mackenzie clan the right to bear the 12-point Royal Stag on their coat of arms. This emblem now graces every bottle of The Dalmore, a symbol of their exceptional heritage.
Founded in 1839 by Alexander Matheson, The Dalmore became synonymous with innovation and quality. Under the stewardship of the Mackenzie family from 1867 onwards, The Dalmore distillery gained worldwide recognition for its superior single malt whisky. Master Distiller Richard Paterson, renowned for his cask curation expertise, guided The Dalmore for nearly five decades. Today, Gregg Glass continues this legacy, crafting exquisite whiskies with a balance of tradition and innovation.

For nearly two centuries, The Dalmore has been guided by a lineage of visionary whisky makers who are dedicated to crafting some of the world’s finest single malts.
