Brokenwood Cricket Pitch Red 2018 begins with berry, leafy aromas due to the composition being almost two-thirds Cabernet Sauvignon. This ripe fruit is completed by the plushness and spice of the Shiraz. Fine long tannins and acid line will see this age well over the medium term.

A lovely drinking wine as always. Simply one of the best Cricket Pitch reds.

In 1970, Brokenwood Wines purchased land set to become a cricket ground. Although they thoroughly enjoy cricket, grapes were planted instead.
