Burn Cottage Pinot Noir 2018

Burn Cottage Vineyard Property is a twenty four hectare estate in the foothills of the Pisa range in Central Otago, New Zealand. The vineyard is owned by the Sauvage family which also owns the celebrated Koehler Ruprecht estate in the Pfalz region of Germany, as well as several fine wine importing and wholesaling companies in the United States.

Lovely savoury dry herb and dark earth tones partner with bright red fruits, a hint of citrus and warm spice. Initially restrained, the wine unfolds with energy, focus and layers of complexity. Silky ripe tannins and fine mineral acidity extend throughout the palate. Showing wonderful texture, layers and completeness, we expect this wine to have a cellaring potential of 8-10 years. - Winemakers Tasting Notes
