Product Description:
Silken, mineral, and unmistakably Provence. Whispering Angel Rosé 2024 from Château d’Esclans continues to set the global benchmark for dry rosé, balancing technical precision with effortless drinkability. Sourced from old-vine Grenache, Cinsault, Rolle, Syrah, and Carignan in the Esclans Valley, it is crafted using low-temperature vinification and aged on lees to preserve nuance and texture.

Under the direction of Sacha Lichine, the estate has redefined the potential of rosé, turning Whispering Angel into a globally recognised icon. This 2024 release delivers its signature pale hue and layered palate with subtle refinement; strawberries and pomegranate overlaid with rose petal, citrus, and crushed herbs. Quietly luxurious, this is rosé with intent.

Maker:
Château d’Esclans sits northeast of St. Tropez in the hills of Provence. When Sacha Lichine acquired the property in 2006, he brought a new level of technical focus to a region known for its charm. Whispering Angel is now produced at scale, but every stage remains closely managed—from vineyard selection to final blending.

Grapes are sourced from old vines across the Esclans Valley and surrounding sites, chosen for their structure and freshness. The winery uses a mix of manual and optical sorting, temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel, and regular lees stirring to build texture without sacrificing precision.

Philosophy:
Harvest begins at sunrise to retain natural freshness. Grapes are picked into small crates to avoid bruising, then sorted twice for quality. A soft press and cold settling follow, with juice protected from oxidation at every stage.

Fermentation takes place in stainless steel, with individual lots assessed by taste and analysis before blending. While the proportions vary each year, the focus remains consistent: detail, restraint, and a clean, dry finish true to its place of origin.
