Chateau Queyron Pindefleurs is a renowned vineyard located at the foot of the southern hillsides of the medieval city of Saint-Emilion. The Fillon family has been cultivating this exceptional terroir with passion and pride since 1937, producing wines that are rich, elegant and harmonious. In 2010, Chantal Fillon and her Australian husband Peter took over the family property, bringing a fresh approach to the winemaking process. This dynamic duo has continued the family tradition of producing high-quality wines while also incorporating new techniques and ideas to enhance the flavor and complexity of their wines. The vineyards of Chateau Queyron Pindefleurs are blessed with a unique terroir that is ideal for growing grapes. The soil is rich in limestone, providing the perfect balance of nutrients for the vines. The vineyard's location at the foot of the southern hillsides of Saint-Emilion also provides excellent drainage, ensuring the grapes are not overwatered. On the palate, the wine is well-balanced, silky and offers juiciness, freshness, as well as a certain deepness. The tannins are fine and there's good length. The wine is fruity, well-built and gourmande, with a slight suavity and fat. In the mouth, the wine expresses notes of cassis, blackberry and slight notes of fresh raspberry, with hints of fresh red berries, cassis, toasted oak and dark chocolate.
