There are two fundamental principles of blending for James Chivas - "old, mature stocks and a distinct Speyside accent'. Adhering to those same core principles today, Master Blender Colin Scott produces whiskeys at least 12 years in age with a generous amount of Speyside malts.
The Chivas Regal 12 Year Old Blended Scotch Whisky is a radiant warm amber colour. The nose is a beautiful aromatic blend of heather, honey, orchard fruits, and wild herbs. The palate is creamy and round with a rich, full taste of honey, ripe pears, and vanilla notes. This finish is rich and lingering.
