A three piece orchestra of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier. The 60% Chardonnay foms the backbone of its structure while the 35% Pinot Noir from Tours-sur-Marne, Bouzy and Ambonnay give it depth and fruit. The 5% Pinot Meunier perfects these harmonies with aromatic density. Ever approachable and consistent. This is a beautifully powerful champagne - freshness and roundness merge to deliver a clean, fruity finish, with well-balanced and elegant length on the palate. A light dosage is added to Delamotte Brut champagne after thirty-six months of maturation on the lees.

The champagne is primarily produced with fruit grown from chalk soils in the Grand Cru villages of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Avize, Oger, and Cramant. Delamotte also cultivates some Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier for its Brut and Rosé Champagnes. Red varieties are sourced from Grand Cru vineyards in Bouzy, Ambonnay and Tours-sur-Marne.

Philosophy:
Fruit is sourced from Cramant to Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, through Avize and Oger and all found in the Côte des Blancs. Its location is one of Delamotte’s richest assets. The chalky soil, the flora and the sloping vineyards give the grapes their exceptional character, delivering delicate, consistent champagnes. Championing this exceptional terroir, drawing the best from it while maintaining absolute respect for the vines and the environment.
Their approach to champagne is a simple one, based on four cuvées: Brut, Blanc de Blancs, Blanc de Blancs vintage and Rosé. A small, neat range of Brut Champagne - designed to be to the point and expressive of terroir with minimal dosage and 36 months of age on lees. The house shares the same viticultural, winemaking, and management team as Champagne Salon. Both houses are owned by Laurent-Perrier.
Nose - Toasty, Lemon Zest, Fresh
A touch of toastiness on the bouquet and the wine is fresh and clean, soft and quite youthful.
Palate - Tight, Precise, Balanced
Touch of sweetness coupled with gentle acidity, making for a nicely balanced crowd pleaser.
Finish - Chalky, Lengthy, Clean Fruity Finish
Mineral inflected with a fine, Lengthy finish.
95% grand cru. 60% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Noir, 5% Pinot Meunier. 36 months on lees, disgorged April 2022. Dosage 8 g/l. 50% of the Delamotte production. Fresh, clean, lemon zest/sherbet on the nose.
