Good Intentions Wine Co. is a husband and wife team, Andrew and Louise, who moved back to Andrew's childhood town of Mount Gambier to start a family, a wine label and build their winery. They welcomed both their daughter Frankie and their first vintage in 2014. With a background in organic farming and permaculture, Andrew and Louise wanted to use their knowledge to create a wine label that reflected their personalities and their commitment to sustainable farming practices. They now own and farm their Chardonnay vineyard, farm lease Boxer's Pinot block, and are currently planting two more on their farm located on the outskirts of Mount Gambier, South Australia. Their winery, property and all their leased vineyards are located on the south side of one of Australia's youngest volcanos. The abundance of water stored in underground limestone caves with pockets of flint rock spread below the nearby soils, all filtered naturally by the limestone, creates pure water thriving with minerality. This helps make for incredible soil complexity and combined with their cool climate, makes for perfect growing conditions and in turn, beautiful, elegant and totally unique wines like no other. Good Intentions Wine Co. makes wines that reflect the eccentricities of their personalities, place and terroir with a minimalistic approach. They use old-world wine methods, preferring the challenges of hand-picking their fruit, open fermenting with indigenous yeast and only adding sulfur when required by the wine. They do not filter or fine their wines, and they are all bottled on-site in their small winery. Their aim is to produce great tasting unique wines that express their unique terroir above anything else. They produce what they like to drink, and their commitment to sustainable farming practices and minimal intervention winemaking is evident in every bottle. Good Intentions Wine Co. is a winery that is dedicated to producing high-quality wines that reflect their passion for the land and their commitment to sustainable farming practices.

Good Intentions Wine Co. is known not only for their unique and high-quality wines but also for their art wine labels. Tim Goschnick is the talented artist behind the labels and imagery of Good Intentions Wine Co. Using a mix of graphite, ink and digital colors, Tim creates labels that are not only visually stunning but also reflect the personality and character of the wine inside the bottle. Many of the characters featured on the labels come from Tim's unpublished picture book, The Strange Parade. Tim studied digital art at RMIT and currently works as a freelance illustrator. He draws inspiration from a variety of sources, including 60's psychedelia, sci-fi, and the natural world. With Tim's unique artistic vision, Good Intentions Wine Co. has created wine labels that are not only beautiful but also tell a story. Each label is a work of art in its own right and adds to the overall experience of enjoying a bottle of wine from Good Intentions Wine Co.

Good Intentions Gris Diddly Dee 2022 is a unique and delicious take on Pinot Gris. Sourced from the seaside region of Mount Benson in South Australia's Limestone Coast, this Pinot Gris is grown on sand soils over limestone only kilometers from the ocean. The grapes are de-stemmed and open fermented while left on skins for 2-3 weeks through its entire fermentation, pumped over twice daily. The result is a beautiful pink wine that is savoury with natural acidity, a textural and morish wine with hints of sherbert leaving you wanting more. The Good Intentions Gris Diddly Dee 2022 is a delicious and unique wine that showcases the terroir of Mount Benson.
