The Guigal domain was founded in 1946 by Etienne Guigal in Ampuis; a small, ancient village at the heart of the Côte-Rôtie appellation. It is overlooked by unique vineyards where vines and wine have been celebrated for over 2,400 years. Following his arrival in 1924 at the age of 14, the founder went on to make wine for 67 vintages in the Côte-Rôtie and, at the beginning of his career, took part in the development of the Vidal-Fleury establishment.

Vintage after vintage, the Collection wines have become symbols which perfectly illustrate the family's ethos of supreme quality. Careful ageing, together with the meticulous attention paid every day by Marcel and Philippe Guigal to the selection and blending processes, bring to the fore the consistency and excellence of the great appellations of the Rhône Valley.

Guigal Côtes du Rhône Blanc 2021 is white wine which will seduce thanks to the blend of grape varieties and its qualities which are as numerous as its famous red cousin's! Connoisseurs will recognize the dominant presence of Viognier.

Always a winner, especially when you consider the volume produced, the 2019 Côtes du Rhône Blanc reveals a vivid gold hue as well as beautiful notes of crushed citrus, honeyed peach, and white flowers to go with a medium-bodied, crisp, clean style on the palate. With good acidity and a dry finish, it's going to shine on the dinner table and keep nicely for 2-3 years. It's a smoking value. - Jeb Dunnuck
