Hitachino Nest White Ale (Bottle)

Hitachino Nest White Ale is a beautiful belgian white ale from the Kiuchi Brewery in Japan. Brewed with wheat malt, flavours of coriander, orange peel and nutmeg come to the forefront of this golden delight. Using hops of Perle, Celleia, Amarillo, and Styrian Goldings, the combination allows for a nicely complex profile, although still very drinkable.  

Founded in 1823, the Kiuchi Brewery has been the at the heart of the Kounosu village in Japan for close to two centuries. Originally built as a sake brewery, in 1994 Japan's brewing laws were relaxed to give small breweries a chance to compete with the main 4 breweries in Japan. Three short years later, Hitachino was winning international awards for their creations and haven't looked back since.
