JC's Own Bluebird Grenache 2022
About this bottle
Winemaker Jaysen Collins is always mesmerised when he sees a flock of birds drifting and floating through the wine. To him, it brings a sense of joy and freedom. From this, he recognised the bluebird as a symbol of happiness. Once he had the concept for the label, he just needed the wine.
In the shallow soils of the Adelaide Hills, he found an east facing vineyard getting just the morning sun. The resulting wine is dangerously drinkable whenever you need a little pick me up. It is a medium style Grenache with an open and fragrant nose. The palate is smooth and silky with flavours of black and blueberries with a touch of spice and fine tannins. The length is generous and long. This wine is ready to consumed immediately.
