Jim Barry The McRae Wood Shiraz Cellar Release 2015

Winemaking pioneer Jim Barry and his wife Nancy purchased 70 acres of prime farm land in 1964. They planted their first shiraz vineyard on this very special site.

The Jim Berry Cellar Release program was developed to showcase how these exceptional wines mature and obtain additional layers of complexity over time. Limited quantities of carefully selected vintages are held back to show the very best of the style.

The inaugural vintage was '92, serving this cuvee up as the younger sibling of the Armagh. Alas, time has seen to it that it has found its own very different skin. Less barrel ferment influence.
