Fruity and textural, with subtle cloudiness, peach-like sweetness, tangy and complexity. Great served chilled straight, over ice or with a splash of sparkling water. Great for Umeshu cocktails.
Kunizakari was established in 1844 on the Chita peninsula in Handa City, Aichi, about 380km south-west of Tokyo. Kuni means ‘country’ and sakari means ‘prosperity’, so Kunizakari roughly translates as ‘flourishing along with the growth of Japan’.
