Longview is a family-owned Adelaide Hills winery, who use estate only fruit to craft a range of elegant, accessible cool climate wines. Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay & red Italian varieties such as Nebbiolo & Barbera all excel in the Macclesfield micro-climate.

There can be danger having a crack at making rosé from Nebbiolo. It’s a notoriously hard grape variety to get right and often the resulting wines can be lean and mean. Which makes this wine a triumph with its surprisingly generous red berry fruits although still with that slight savoury edge which amps up the personality. Mid Salmon pink, it opens with an array of red fruits from raspberry through to watermelon. The palate is then dry and crisp with a slight spritz which makes for a well pitched and refreshing Summery style. It is delicious on its own but also has the flavour to match a range of dishes, from spicy seafood through to cold cuts of charcoal chicken. -  Angus Hughson, The Wine Pilot
