Massolino Barolo 2022 is a traditional Barolo made from 100% Nebbiolo by the Massolino family in Serralunga d’Alba, Piedmont. The estate’s classic Barolo brings together fruit from several vineyards, reflecting the differing characteristics of Massolino’s Serralunga terroirs. First produced in 1947, it remains a defining wine in the family’s range, with the 2022 vintage combining the firm structure expected of Barolo with an approachable aromatic profile of dried flowers, raspberry and spice.

Dry, full-bodied and firmly structured, the wine has the concentration to develop further in bottle while retaining a sense of balance. Decant before serving at 18–20°C, where its structure and savoury depth make it a natural match for red meats, game, truffle dishes, fresh egg pasta with meat sauces, risotto and medium-aged cow’s or goat’s milk cheeses.
