About this bottle
For the 2022 vintage, the fruit was handpicked, whole bunch pressed, and the unclarified juice was barrel fermented, and stirred regularly over its 9 months maturation in oak, to build palate weight and complexity. As 2022 was a year with high natural acidity, all the chardonnay ferments went through malolactic fermentation.
The 2022 blend certainly packs a punch! Tight aromas of grapefruit and white peach are complemented with higher zesty notes of lemon pith. The palate is balanced and full of pure fruit flavours, with taut acidity pushing out the length.
