Pommery Brut Royal NV 375ml
About this bottle
In 1858, Madame Pommery assumed leadership of Pommery & Greno following her husband's passing. She embarked on expanding her House by creating wines that were truly unique, always emphasizing uncompromising quality. Ahead of her time in matters of taste, Madame Pommery introduced Pommery Nature in 1874, the first successful brut champagne that broke away from the tradition of overly sweet wines. As a woman in a predominantly male-dominated industry, she left an indelible mark on her champagnes, imprinting them with her distinct personality.
Champagne Pommery Brut Royal epitomizes the renowned Pommery style – characterized by finesse, freshness and liveliness. Produced using carefully selected fruit from 40 villages in the Côte des Blancs, Montagne de Reims, and other regions in Champagne, this champagne benefits from the climate's ability to enhance the liveliness and delicacy of the chardonnay grape.
Exhibiting a pale yellow colour with subtle green highlights, the champagne greets the senses with a delicate and generous nose that is lively, fresh, and refined. On the palate, one can discern assertive notes of red fruits, adding a touch of vibrancy. The wine's delicate, rich and rounded character lingers gracefully, leaving a clear and satisfying taste without any dryness.
