Crafted by Riesling specialist John Hughes, it comes from three family-run vineyards nestled in the cool, rugged Flaxman Valley, more than 500 metres above sea level. These rocky sites, with granitic loam over quartz and slate, yield fruit of remarkable concentration and linear drive.

The 2025 season brought challenge and clarity. Dry heat and early frost reduced yields, intensifying flavour and structure. Hughes’ precise sourcing and restrained, cool fermentation in stainless steel channelled purity above all else. Bottled young under screw cap, it captures the High Eden profile in its most crystalline form, designed to age gracefully over decades.
