The Shaw + Smith Shiraz has been aged in French oak barrels for 14 months, which contributes to its complexity and depth of flavour. The wine is dominated by dark fruits such as blackberry and blackcurrant, with hints of pepper and spice. On the palate, the wine is well-structured with silky tannins that provide a smooth, luxurious mouthfeel. The flavours are a mix of dark fruit, pepper, and spice, with a touch of vanilla and oak from the aging process. The finish is long and satisfying, leaving a lingering impression of the wine's elegance and balance.
