The Cenobio family has a long history in tequila production, being the very first to export to the United States in the 1860’s. Today the very same family produces some of the finest expressions of tequila using traditional artisanal methods at their century old hacienda in the Tequila Valley. The Fortaleza Blanco is one of the great expressions of blanco with aromas of citrus, and rich cooked agave which fill your nose in this unique tequila. Also present: butter, olive, earth, black pepper, and a deep inviting vegetal complexity. Flavors include citrus, cooked agave, vanilla, basil, olive, and lime. The finish is long and deep, complex yet easy to drink.
