Wynns Coonawarra Estate V&A Lane Shiraz 2014

V&A Lane is a long, straight road that dissects Coonawarra’s famous terra rossa strip at its midpoint. Surveyed in 1851, the lane divides the original electorates of Victoria and Albert, and the area is celebrated for exceptional Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz wines.

V and A Lane bisects the Coonawarra red soil halfway between its ends, it was also the border between the Victoria and Albert local government electorates, and Wynns has vineyards on either side of the lane. Bright crimson; this perfectly formed and weighted medium-bodied shiraz has striking purity, appropriately with half red and half dark fruit flavours.
